The work consists of a terrarium inside a hammam-type window. In the container, which is about five years old, there is a swamp plant named “Hydrocotyle verticillata”. Most of the plants are dried on the glass while trying to collect remaining moisture, while the new plants continue to grow thanks to the carbon cycle inside the terrarium.
Bayraktar places a miniature space into another one which works on the same principle; a building based on humidity and light, such as hammam. This idea is the result of the attempt to present the spatial links of life cycle and approaching architecture as an ecosystem.
